Mindfulness - or how feelings are made
In this second episode of our podcast "More than a Feeling - Gefühl und Gesellschaft" we talk about how feelings are produced by programs like mindfulness stress reduction, that are explored by project B07 "The Fabrication of Emotion Repertoires".
Our guests in this episode are our colleagues from Hamburg Nina Sökefeld and Sighard Neckel. We talked about their research and how specific programs of mindfulness, empowerment, inclusion, and awareness produce specific emotions and norms about our emotional worlds. They also share with us their theories about the unexpected union of mindfulness practitioners and anti-Covid-measures.
The episode is available in German.
We welcome questions, comments and criticism by mail to podcast@sfb1171.de.
