MAXQDA is a software for qualitative data analysis. The software was developed to manage and analyze kinds of data like interviews, field notes, articles, pictures, audio-visual material and more. In this workshop, we will learn to navigate the user interface and the key functions of the software including for example creating a project, coding, producing memos, using visual tools, or conducting text retrieval. The workshop will be held in German mostly, but it is possible to use an additional English user interface and there will be English exercise material.

Participants should bring their own laptops (with MAXQDA 12 or a free 30 days demo version installed). In the week before the workshop takes place there will be an email with the links to download the demo version and the exercise file.
