Auf der Jahrestagung der American Anthropological Association (AAA), die vom 29.11. bis zum 03.12. 2017 in Washington D.C. stattfand, präsentierten Olaf Zenker und Jonas Bens die Arbeit des Forschungsprojekts in einem Panel mit dem Titel "Affects of Justice: Ethnographies of Emotion, Sentiment and the Law".

Olaf Zenkers Präsentation hatte den Titel "Sentiments of Justice and the Politics of Sentiment: The International Criminal Court in Northern Uganda." Jonas Bens trug zum Thema "Sentimentalizing Persons and Things: Negotiating the Political, the Legal, the Holy, and the Profane in the Al-Mahdi Case before the International Criminal Court" vor.
